The Lost Wildeness

The Lost Wilderness is a collection of true stories of encounters with wild animals in the forests which have been lost to posterity.

They take one back in time to the Siddh-sot in Chandi Range before its overexploitation by graziers and the forest department, and to Boxar and Sher-Bhujji forests in Corbett National Park before these were lost by submergence following the construction of the Kalagarh dam.
